Is your website optimized for mobile devices? Reports have estimated mobile internet traffic at 20% of all internet traffic. Make sure you aren’t shutting out 20% of your potential website visitors by not having your website mobile friendly. Or worse yet, some websites are not even visible to many mobile devices. All iOS devices, iPhones and iPads, and many other smartphones are not even able to view Flash based websites. Can mobile users view your website?
Flash is on its way out and yet there are still quite a few Flash based websites out there. If the site owners are deep pockets corporations they can afford to build multiple versions of their website to accomodate all devices used by potential customers.
Most small to medium sized businesses do not have the luxury to build an additional mobile version of their website. There are other options such as HTML5, the ultimate replacement option for Flash. Some website services and designers are getting up to speed with HTML5 site building capabilities. Flash is dead. Please do not waste time and money building your website with Flash.
WordPress is my favorite website platform and thanks to their developers and associates, WordPress offers excellent mobile friendly options. There are dedicated themes and plugins to provide your website viewers with a very friendly mobile experience. Contact me anytime if you would like to learn more about making sure your website is a great experience for all your potential viewers.

No? Why not? Our motto at Sunset Street Design is “Every Business Needs A Website”. It is extremely rare to see any big business that does not have some kind of website to complement their other forms of advertising and public information. We live in the information age. Big business realizes the importance of a website to get their particular message out to the public in the most efficient way.
